MORE INFO ON TREATMENT ROOMS

Brighton and Hove Therapies (BHT) is a new and innovative clinic offering a friendly, modern and professional approach to complementary therapies. Our stylish clinic creates a decadent ambience where you can indulge in a bit of 'me' time. We have a variety of independent therapists all working side by side to promote wellbeing and help restore the body’s natural equilibrium and balance. We focus on treating the mind body and soul; rather than just treating the specific symptom or illness on its own.

Complementary therapies can be used to target physical, mental, or emotional issues, be used as a preventative measure or simply for rest and relaxation purposes. This website lists a range of talking and hands on therapies, along with professional, qualified and insured practitioners who are ready to offer their help and expertise.

We are proud to support two charities, Changing Faces and Samaritans; read more about their work here.

The technique of massage has been used throughout centuries and is one of the oldest forms of therapy, which was used in ancient medical practices. Hippocrates, an early founder and leader of medicine, noted the necessity of ‘rubbing’ for all physicians, for the relief of pain.

Talking Therapies in Brighton

“Worrying is just like rocking in a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn’t get you anywhere.”

talking

Talking is an essential part of human relationships. It can strengthen connections with people, ease worry and encourage the release of pent up emotions and feelings. If you turn a worry over and over in your mind, that worry just continues to grow and can lead to mental and physical repercussions. Talking about your thoughts and feelings can help you work out what is really bothering you and explore what you could do to improve the situation.
