SUSAN BOARD PhD, Post-grad Diploma (MBACP)Susan is a fully-qualified counsellor. Susan gained a Post-graduate Diploma in person-centred counselling from the University of Brighton, and has experience of counselling - mainly with young people. She is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follows their ethical code of practice. She has CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance to work with young people under the age of 18.
Susan combines her counselling work with her previous training, and works as a part-time lecturer for the Open University. She lectures mainly in the subject area of environmental ethics and policy but also now has started lecturing a counselling course.
Susan will create a counselling space that is safe, containing and confidential for you to explore your concerns. She sees clients on a weekly basis for longer or shorter stretches of time; this is agreed upon at the beginning and is always open to re-negotiation.
Susan works as a person-centred and existential counsellor.
